New Show Airs Weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

CALGARY, June 25, 2021 – Global News Radio 770 CHQR is proud to announce today that well-known Calgary media personality Ted Henley is the new host of The Drive, airing from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays. Henley officially takes over as permanent host on Monday, June 28.
With more than 23 years of experience in journalism, Henley has been on-air in Calgary for decades. He began his career as an anchor, reporter and producer with Global Calgary before joining CityTV as the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. anchor. In 2006, he started working in radio as the morning show host with 660 News. Henley eventually returned to TV as the face of Breakfast Television for the next eight years.
Throughout his career, Henley has won multiple awards for his work across both TV and radio. He is the recipient of multiple RTDNA awards and Alberta Media Industries Association (AMPIA) honours. Henley was also named as one of the Top 40 under 40 by Avenue Calgary and holds a White Hat from Tourism Calgary for his extensive volunteer work in the community.
