680 CJOB HOSTS LIVE MANITOBA LEADERS’ DEBATE ON SEPTEMBER 18

WINNIPEG, September 14, 2023 – As Manitobans get ready to head to the polls for the province’s election on October 3, 680 CJOB, Winnipeg’s news and information leader, will host the only provincial Leaders’ radio debate on September 18, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Broadcasting live from the station’s studio located in downtown Winnipeg, the 90-minute commercial-free debate will feature Provincial Leaders Wab Kinew, leader of the Manitoba New Democratic Party; Dougald Lamont, leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party; and Heather Stefanson, leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba.
Moderated by Richard Cloutier, co-host of The News on 680 CJOB, weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the debate will showcase leaders whose parties currently hold seats in the Legislature.
