HALIFAX, August, 16, 2019 – Global News Halifax and Global News New Brunswick are delighted to announce Alyse Hand as the new co-host of local morning news program Global News Morning. A familiar face to viewers in the Maritimes, Hand has worked in local television in the region for more than a decade. Hand is welcomed to the morning news desk by longtime Global News Morning co-host Paul Brothers, who has been with the show since its launch in January 2013. Born and raised in Bedford, Nova Scotia, Hand is proud of her Maritimes roots.
