Troy Reeb Appointed EVP Networks and Content in Expanded Role

For Immediate Release

TORONTO, October 19, 2023 – Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B) announced today that Troy Reeb will take on the expanded role of Executive Vice President Networks and Content.

Effective November 1, 2023, Reeb will assume accountability for studio content, in addition to his current oversight of multi-platform broadcast networks, news and audio as we streamline our programming operating model. He will have a fully integrated cross-portfolio view of Corus’ content, whether acquired or produced, for Corus networks and for distribution around the world.

“Troy has a deep knowledge of our company and our industry with strong relationships with content partners and a keen understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape,” said Doug Muphy, President and CEO, Corus Entertainment. “This evolution aligns with our strategic plan as we make smart changes amidst these challenging times, adapting our business to emerge strong and focused as the current economic and industry uncertainty passes.”

Reeb’s tenure at Corus extends more than 20 years, beginning at Canwest in the Global News division. Since his appointment to Executive Vice President Broadcast Networks in February 2019, Reeb has been focused on innovation and collaboration across our TV, Radio and digital network platforms, and has co-led Corus’ regulatory and government relations strategy.

With this appointment, Corus has eliminated the position of Executive Vice President Content and Strategy. The role’s current incumbent Colin Bohm, will leave the company effective October 31, 2023. Bohm exits Corus as a valued member of the team with many notable accomplishments during his 21 years with the company and the execution of meaningful business transactions in support of Corus’ overall content strategy and core business.
