CORUS ENTERTAINMENT REFINES LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE

TORONTO, August 7, 2024 – Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B) announced today that as part of its ongoing efforts to right-size its business for sustainability, it has made the decision to eliminate the role of EVP and Chief Revenue Officer. As a result, Greg McLelland is stepping down from the role effective August 31, 2024, with Barb McKergow taking on the expanded role of SVP, Advertising for Corus. McKergow will report to Troy Reeb, Co-Chief Executive Officer and join Corus’ Senior Leadership Team.

In her expanded role, McKergow will oversee all Advertising Sales, Revenue Management, Research, Advanced Advertising and Data teams with the focus of delivering the insights, client service and selling power that Corus advertisers have come to count on.
McLelland departs Corus with a legacy of first-to-market-achievements underpinned by a client-centric, data-driven approach that has cultivated meaningful advertiser and talent relationships. During his two-decade career in media, McLelland has championed growth and innovation through his work with clients, industry organizations and boards.
McKergow’s appointment is effective September 1, 2024.
