Kortney Wilson (Making it Home with Kortney & Kenny), Jasmine Roth (Help! I Wrecked My House), Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak (Good Bones), and Ben and Erin Napier (Home Town Takeover) each return to the network offering their one-of-a-kind expertise and visions to upgrade everything from single room projects to entire communities. Joining the HGTV Canada family are Canadian contractor Kenny Brain, who teams up with Kortney Wilson, and designer Mary Welch Stasik, who makes her mark in the brand-new series Breaking Bland. With a full schedule of new series and seasons, HGTV Canada’s talented experts offer plenty of design inspiration, makeover motivation, and feel good stories every night of the week.
Premiering Wednesday, September 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Making it Home with Kortney & Kenny (10×60) sees master flipper and real estate expert, Kortney Wilson, help homeowners convert their fixer-uppers into show-stopping assets. Joined by contractor and Big Brother Canada alumnus, Kenny Brain, the duo share their infectious joy and home renovation expertise with homeowners in need of help. Filmed throughout the GTA and Nashville, Kortney and Newfoundland-native Kenny take the reins on full-scale renovations in this Corus Studios original series.
The hotly anticipated six-episode event series Home Town Takeover (4×60 and 2×90), starring networks superstars Ben and Erin Napier, premieres Sunday, September 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Known for their hit series, Home Town, the #2 HGTV Canada show this spring*, the duo offers the town of Wetumpka, Alabama a once-in-a-lifetime transformation in this new spin-off. Taking on 12 major renovations throughout the community – including restaurants, shops, historic homes, public spaces, a new farmers’ market, and an entire downtown street – the series showcases how helping others truly can make an impact for generations to come.
Also dedicated to helping homeowners this fall is new addition Breaking Bland (6×30 and 1×60), premiering Tuesday, August 31 at 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET, which sees designer Mary Welch Stasik from Charleston, South Carolina break design boundaries to create dream spaces. Plus Curb Appeal Xtreme (6×60), I Bought A Dump, Now What (4×60), and The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project (6×60) round out the schedule with their debuts.
Design superstar Jasmine Roth returns to the network with Season 2 of Help! I Wrecked My House (8×60) on Wednesday, September 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Jasmine and her team help homeowners finish DIY’s-gone-wrong, turning mishaps into dream spaces in record time. Later, mother-and-daughter duo Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak continue their mission to revitalize their hometown of Indianapolis in Season 6 of Good Bones (14×60), premiering Sunday, September 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
